Remains
While on the main route in Snaefellsnes peninsula, Iceland, I suddenly got caught by this picturesque remains just about a kilometer off the road. As many other enticing spots through my journey I felt attracted to it and had to stop by. At the place, the peace and quietness was so unique that after the shot I spent almost one hour close by contemplating the scene falling asleep afterwards.

Dreamzone
To descend into the Öxnadalur valley between Vatmahlith and Akureyri, northeast Iceland, is a magical and dreamlike experience. The road is surrounded both sides by mountains covered in snow from the bottom up. The mist over acute tops made that moment even more surreal.
